Introduction

What it is#

Vellum Architecture is a project-management platform made for architecture firms. Most studios juggle spreadsheets, shared folders, and long email chains. Vellum brings all of that into one workspace — projects, files, calendars, clients, and billing in the same place.

The product is shaped around how a studio actually runs day to day. Every project belongs to a company, follows a stage workflow, sits at one of your locations, and has a responsible employee. Clients only see what you choose to share with them through the portal.

Who it's for#

Vellum is used by independent architects, multi-person studios, and multi-office firms across Portugal. A few details are specific to Portugal — most visibly, the NIF (fiscal number) appears on every client record.

If you spend your days on projects, deadlines, file submissions, and client approvals, and you'd like all of it in one place, this manual is for you.
