What Vellum is, who it's built for and how these docs are organised — the starting point for running architecture projects with Vellum.
What it is
Vellum Architecture is a project-management platform made for architecture firms. Instead of spreadsheets, shared folders and long email chains, it brings projects, files, the calendar and clients into one workspace.
The product follows how a firm actually works day to day. Every project belongs to a company, moves through a status (from New to Concluded) and through the stages your firm defines, sits at one of your offices and has a responsible employee. Clients only see what you share with them in the client portal.
Who it's for
Vellum is made for independent architects, studios and multi-office firms in Portugal. A few details are specific to Portugal — most visibly the NIF (tax number) on every client record.
If you spend your days on projects, deadlines, file submissions, and client approvals, and you'd like all of it in one place, this manual is for you.
