Free trial

How the trial starts, what it includes, and what happens at the end.

Starting your trial#

When you sign up as an Office Owner, your trial starts automatically. You don't need to enter a payment method to begin — just complete the onboarding wizard and you're in.

The trial gives you full access to your chosen plan for a fixed window (the in-app billing page shows your exact `trial_ends_at` date and the days remaining). When the trial ends, you'll be prompted to add a payment method.

While your trial is active#

While your trial is active, every feature of the plan you signed up for is unlocked. You can:

  • Create real projects, clients, events, and stages — none of it is reset when the trial ends.
  • Invite up to your plan's seat count.
  • Upload files up to your plan's storage limit.
  • Try any add-on integrations available on your tier.

We start showing an upgrade modal when your trial has 5 days or fewer remaining. It links straight to the billing page so you can add a card before expiry.

When the trial ends#

If you don't add a payment method before the trial ends, your subscription enters a `PAST_DUE` state. You can still sign in, see your data, and add a card — but creating new projects and uploading new files is paused until you do.

If the account stays unpaid for 30 days, it moves to `BLOCKED`. You'll see the BlockedModal on every page and have to add a payment method to unlock. Your data is not deleted.
