A 5-person firm on Core pays 5 × €23 = €115 a month. No VAT (exempt under article 53 of the Portuguese VAT Code).
Pricing questions
Do prices include VAT?
Prices are final: we don't charge VAT, because Vellum is exempt under article 53 of the Portuguese VAT Code (CIVA). What you see is what you pay.
What counts as a seat?
Every member of the team takes a seat: the account owner and each employee an Admin adds. Clients with portal access don't count. When you add an employee, the subscription gains a seat, charged pro rata for the time left until renewal.
How does the free trial work?
Core and Professional come with 14 free days, no card needed. If you subscribe before the end, the remaining days still count. If the 14 days end without a subscription, the workspace is blocked, with no data lost, until you subscribe or switch to Free (up to 3 projects; employees leave the team). Free has no trial, because it never expires.
Can I change plan or billing interval?
Yes. Upgrading from Core to Professional takes effect right away, charged pro rata for the time left, and so does moving from monthly to annual. Annual to monthly, and Professional to Core, happen at renewal. To move to Free, cancel the subscription and switch when the period ends.
What happens when storage fills up?
Uploads stop until you free up space — nothing is charged per GB, and your files stay available. On Core and Professional, the owner can add 50 GB packs on the billing page, priced there.
How much do I save with annual billing?
At least 17% compared with paying month by month, on both paid plans. The discount is already in the annual prices shown above.
How do I cancel, and what happens to my data?
You cancel on the billing page, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Your data isn't deleted automatically: if you want a copy, or want us to delete it, ask support.
How do I pay?
Payment is handled securely by Stripe. The available payment methods are shown at checkout.
